We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came along on Sunday and supported our Open Day, that includes all exhibitors, volunteers and of course the general public.
It was a beautiful day, the weather couldn’t have been better. We had more visitors to the garden than we’ve ever had and it’s good to know that the gate money is going to such a good cause as Perennial, the Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society.
We also sold lots of plants and I particularly like this clematis which grows in the Sensory Garden,
The children’s games were a big hit,
But for some people that was too energetic and they just lay in the sun
