If you’re interested in getting some new ideas or just looking to meet like-minded people why not come along to the first meeting of the year of the Suntrap Gardening Club. They meet the third Tuesday of every month at 7.15 pm in the classroom at Suntrap.
Throughout the year there will be visits to gardens, talks and hands on activities like making hanging baskets. At the first meeting there will be a talk by David Milne who was a gardener at The Suntrap Garden for some years, he now works at the college. He will be giving a talk about “New Ideas for Your Garden”. Come along and be inspired.

I came into Suntrap today, I wasn’t sure if I would make it or not. I knew the bypass would be clear but I wasn’t sure about the road round to the garden. I needn’t have worried it was easy.

Once I got out of the car the garden was so peaceful, not a sound, just peace and quiet that only comes when it’s been snowing and the lovely crunching noise when you’re the first person to step in the snow.

It snowed all day and the garden just got whiter and whiter.
